Chapter V of VIII · Trusted Vendors
Keep the professionals who already know your home
Contact information, service history, and notes for every vendor who has worked on the property, not just a phone number in a drawer.
The homeowner problem
The plumber who already knows where the old cast-iron line runs. The HVAC technician who’s serviced the same system for three years. Every homeowner accumulates a short list of people worth calling back, and then loses the number, or forgets which one handled which job, right when it matters.
What Home Handoff remembers
Trusted Vendors keeps that list organized, tying together:
- Contact information
- Services provided
- Previous appointments
- Related invoices
- Work performed
- Homeowner notes
- Relevant systems
When a trusted vendor is connected through a supported Werner Harmonic Labs Maintenance Counterpilot account, homeowners may be able to message the vendor, request appointments, review quotes, and complete payments through the connected vendor experience.
With homeowner permission, the vendor can receive the relevant property profile, equipment details, service history, and upcoming maintenance information needed for the job.
Supported vendors may also notify the homeowner when recommended service is approaching and invite them to request an appointment through the trusted-vendor conversation.
A realistic example
A homeowner needs the same electrician back who wired the new panel last year. Instead of digging through old text messages, they open Trusted Vendors, find the electrician’s record with the panel work already logged, and see the original invoice and notes from that visit.
Why the history matters later
A vendor record with real history, not just a phone number, means less time re-explaining the house to someone new, and it becomes the foundation of a relationship that can outlast a single job.
Action
View the vendors already on file for a property, and see how a connected vendor relationship can grow from there.
