What it shows
Home Overview is where a home manual opens. It answers the questions people ask first and points to the chapter that holds the detail. A fact nobody has entered yet is left off the page.
- Address, square footage, stories, bedrooms, bathrooms and year built
- The “Presented by” line naming the agent or brokerage who arranged the manual
- A line for each chapter, such as the systems on record and the next maintenance item due
- Transfer readiness, which counts the main sections that are still empty
When it helps
An insurance agent on the phone asks for the year built and the square footage. Both are on the first screen.
The next question is the roof. The overview leads to Home Systems, where the Roof & Gutters record says architectural shingle, installed March 2019, and the permit is filed in Documents under the same system.
